Glitter and Sparkle

I'm just a little obsessed with the glitter shoe trend at the moment, seen on celebs such as Ashley Greene, Minka Kelly, Dianna Agron and Kylie Mingoue. They seem like a such a perfect way to spice up an outfit and these shoes above are extremely beautiful. Very Carrie Bradshaw don't you think?

Keira Knightley for Harper's Bazaar UK September 2012

Keira Knightley dons her signature pout for her cover for Harper's Bazaar UK wearing a Chanel jacket whilst clutching a dark pink rose. The actress was shot by Ellen Von Unwerth and the actress wears creations by Gucci, Lanvin, Balenciaga and L'Wren Scott. I picked up this issue when I was at the gym, and she talks about her co-stars in the upcoming adaptation of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, wedding dressing, Karl Lagerfield and being front row at fashion shows.

Spice Girls and Supermodels - London 2012 Closing Ceremony

Over the past couple of weeks I have been completely addicted to the Olympics. BBC's coverage has been amazing (Ian Thorpe marry me) and Team GB have done exceptionally well. The Closing Ceremony was  brilliant and a perfect representation of British music and culture - though I must admit I went to bed straight after the Spice Girls! One of my favourite parts was the celebration of the British fashion industry with Supermodels strutting their stuff dressed in British designers.
From left to right we have Lily Cole in an Erdem gold embroidered lace dress with Charlotte Olympia pumps, Stella Tennant rocking a Christopher Kane metal mesh and crystal trouser suit, Karen Elson wore Burberry gold lace dress and Jimmy Choo sandals, Kate Moss wore an Alexander McQueen floorlength gold sequinned gown, Lily Donadlson wore Vivienne Westwood gold-embroidered gown with baroque detail inspired by 17th Century English Royalty, Naomi Campbell wore a stunning Alexander McQueen gold metal embroidered dress with a flowing train, Georgia May Jagger wore a gold Victoria Beckham dress, Jourdan Dunn wore an amazing Stephen Jones gold-feather headdress with her Jonathan Saunders gold and white dress and finally David Gandy looked dashing in a gold Paul Smith suit.

The other highlight of my evening was the performance by The Spice Girls (I am even listening to a bit of Wannabe now) who I ADORE. They looked absolutely amazing, and gave a killer performance.
Victoria Beckham wore a black tiered and ruffled dress by Giles Deacon, Geri wore a Suzanne Neville dress with the Union Jack incoperated into the bustle, Emma Bunton wore a pink Maggie Cooke mini dress with structured glitter covered shoulders. Mel C, was dressed by JD Sports. The singer had her white jumpsuit designed especially by the sports fashion retailer. Mel B wore a extremely sparkly Zuhair Murad jumpsuit -the skin-tight look was embroidered with intricate gold-sequin detailing.

What did you think of the Closing Ceremony? Are you sad to see the Olympics leave London?
